What is UroLIFT?

This is the latest and unique surgical method to treat BPH (benign prostatic hypertrophy ). Procedure

Initial Examination Before the procedure, the patient may undergo various diagnostic tests, including a physical examination, urine flow studies, and imaging tests, to assess the severity of BPH and determine if they are a suitable candidate for the UroLift procedure.

Day of the Procedure Step Process of the Surgery
- During the procedure, the urologist uses a cystoscope (a thin, flexible tube with a camera) to visualize the prostate gland. Small implants, called UroLift implants, are then inserted into the prostate tissue to hold the obstructing lobes of the prostate apart. These implants act as a mechanical support, preventing the prostate tissue from compressing the urethra and obstructing urine flow.
